Philosophy

Margulies Perruzzi Architects strives to remain at the forefront of new software and new processes in order to offer its clients use of the newest technologies for the benefit of their projects. We are committed to using Revit, which is part of a class of software known as BIM, or “Building Information Modeling”. The advantages of BIM include better visualization of the project design, enhancing communication and coordination between project team members, and reducing the number of costly changes during construction. One reason our architectural firm has enthusiastically embraced Revit is that its use is entirely consistent with our fundamental philosophy of interactive collaboration with our clients and other team members.

We also believe in creating healthy, environmentally-friendly spaces whenever possible. Our new office space located within the LEED-Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Boston Children’s Museum is certified LEED-Silver. Seventy percent of our designers are LEED-accredited, and MPA is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, developers of the LEED Certification rating system.
